ResAvenue® Channel Connect is a distribution breakthrough that will make great financial sense for your Hotel. It will give you an instant and direct route to the massive online and offline travel market. ResAvenue® Channel Connect comes with all the necessary tools to ensure that you can not only optimize your sales performance on the web, but also optimize your revenue per booking.
Currently, only 4700 hotels are using ResAvenue® Channel Connect because it is a policy to limit the number of properties per destination. The purpose of this is policy to ensure a stable and growing amount of bookings that you can rely on. It also means that ResAvenue® Channel Connect has to work harder to drive a significant amount of business to your hotel.
To list your hotel on ResAvenue® Channel Connect, you will have to make the following commitments:
Best Rates Online: Your Hotel must put up the 'best rates online' on the ResAvenue® Channel Connect. The 'Best Rates Online' is defined as room rates at least equal to the lowest rates offered by any portal, online travel agent or other rate-carrying agents on the Web.
Room Blockings: Your Hotel should endeavor to block at least five percent (5%) of your total number of rooms in all room types. At your discretion, you may adjust the Room Blockings as necessary to accommodate the demands of seasonality, holiday periods, special events and other situations.
Reservation Management: The Hotel is solely responsible for ensuring that information in the ResAvenue® Extranet is accurate and the reservations are actively managed.
1. Complete the ResAvenue® Channel Connect Agreement.
2. Complete the INFO SHEET (Information Sheet)
Prepare separate info sheets for each participating hotel. Use the Property List page to list all participating properties.
Please put in Nett of Commission Rates. Rates must be a minimum 25% discount off the lowest published rate for the hotel only program or minimum 30% discount off lowest published rate for the packaged program.
Be sure to include Starting Allocations for each room type in the space provided directly below the “Room Types” section.
Once your property in our system, we will contact you to conduct a training session on ResAvenue® Channel Connect.
3. Mail the completed and duly signed documents, to any of the Avenues offices mentioned in the Contact Us section on the ResAvenue website.
On signing up for ResAvenue® Channel Connect, you will be assigned a unique property ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’, which will enable you to control your room inventory. The Merchant Services team will assist you in managing your account, including marketing, uploading images, rates & inventory management and more. If you don’t want to actively manage your property, you can email your special rates to our Merchant Services team and they shall update the same on your behalf.
You have to provide ResAvenue® Channel Connect with your best available Nett Rates. These rates will be marked up to include the ResAvenue® Channel Connect commission, which will be recovered from the customer at the time of the reservation. The marked up commission will vary according to our affiliate commission structure, marketing expenses, demand-supply ratio, etc. If you work on a structure wherein your hotel rates need to be fixed, ResAvenue® Channel Connect will mark up the commission to meet your fixed nett rate.
For Example: If your fixed nett rate is 100$ and you want us to sell at that rate, you have to ensure that you upload your room inventory at 75$ for unbundled rooms as we will mark it up to reach 100$.
ResAvenue® Channel Connect will sell your room inventory at your best available rate. You need to provide us your room inventory Nett non-commissionable rates based on the following structure:-
25% off lowest Published Rates (i.e. your best available rates) in the case of Unbundled Rooms,
At least 30% off lowest Published Rates (i.e. your best available rates) in the case of Packaged Rooms, and
At least 35% off lowest Published Rates (i.e. your best available rates) in the case of Distressed Rooms
For Example: If your best available rate is 100USD and you want us to sell at that rate, you have to ensure that you upload your room inventory at 75USD for unbundled rooms as we will mark it up to reach 100USD.
ResAvenue has generated 60,000 room nights worth of reservations in the past year through our two portals – Insta Travel, Insta Reserve and 100's of affiliated brick and mortar travel agents. ResAvenue® Channel Connect is also in talks with ABACUS (GDS) wherein you will be connected to 18000 of their travel agents, corporates etc. Shortly, we will also be coming out with a white-label booking engine and XML feed connection for B2C travel websites and portal.
